A non-auditioned choir is a group where anyone who loves to sing can join without needing to audition. This means there’s no requirement to demonstrate vocal ability before joining or having experience reading sheet music. Our choir welcomes singers of all levels, from beginners to experienced vocalists, and every voice is valued and celebrated.

We perform a wide range of well-known pop and rock songs from various eras, featuring unique arrangements that cater to the diverse musical tastes of our members. Our repertoire includes everything from Simon and Garfunkel, Stealers Wheel, and The Beatles, to Katy Perry, Maren Morris, Toto, Sister Sledge, John Denver, CCR, John Lennon, and many more. There is a little something for everyone in the OOTB Chorus!

No, reading music is not a requirement to join our choir. We provide all the necessary resources, including sheet music and audio tracks, to help you learn the songs. Our rehearsals also include guidance and support to assist you along the way. We believe in empowering our members to overcome fears about reading sheet music, helping debunk the myth that it's intimidating or unapproachable. We aim to help everyone feel comfortable engaging with music in new ways.

Weekly rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., with a fifteen-minute break. We follow a regular seasonal rehearsal schedule, which we provide at the start of each season.

Absolutely! We encourage prospective members to register for a SING & SEE—a no-obligation rehearsal where you can come and check out an OOTB rehearsal and see if it’s the right fit for you.

We sing a variety of pop, rock, gospel, and folk songs, so there’s something for everyone!

Please bring your sheet music, a black binder, and an open mind, ready to explore new musical ideas and approaches to making music with others.

A water bottle to stay hydrated and a pencil for marking your music is also helpful.
