There are no auditions, no need to read music, or have any previous singing experience to join OOTB Chorus. Those with all levels of musical and vocal ability are encouraged to JOIN US! Our members are all ages and have a wide variety of experience and musical backgrounds. The love of singing is at the heart of all we do.

We sing a variety of well known pop and rock songs from different ears with unique arrangements that appeal to the diverse musical tastes of our members. We sing everything from Simon and Garfunkel, Stealer’s Wheel, The Beatles, Katy Perry, Maren Morris, Toto, Sister Sledge, John Denver, Toto, CCR, John Lennon, and more.

There is a little something for everyone in OOTB Chorus!

We have two main concerts during the choir season - Fall and Spring. We also have a community engagement team that sings at seniors residences, malls, and other events during the year to help us connect to the musical communities of Calgary and beyond.

Sheet music and practice audio are provided for learning. There’s no requirement to read music or have prior experience, you can learn by ear and repetition in our rehearsals!

If you do have a musical background, fantastic! You’ll still find our arrangements challenging and fun!

OOTB is an adult non-auditioned chorus so we encourage members to be over the age of 18. There is however, no age cut off.
