What We Sing

A Blend of Pop, Rock, Gospel, and Folk.

Out of the Blue Chorus sings a rich diversity of pop, rock, gospel, and folk music.
Our vibrant and diverse group enjoys exploring different musical styles—there's something for everyone! During the choir season, we blend the energy of rock, the spirit of gospel, the storytelling of folk, and the catchy tunes of contemporary pop into our rehearsals and performances.

Songs that Connect…

At OOTB, we take pride in our unique blend of musical genres, ranging from today’s pop hits to classic rock anthems, universal gospel tunes, and soulful folk melodies. This diverse selection of songs is not just about variety but about creating a rich, inclusive musical journey for our members and audiences.

By embracing such a broad range of repertoire, we aim to improve our members' singing experience, expand their musical knowledge, hone their skills, and deepen our appreciation for different genres. This diverse approach fosters a core value of our choir—creating a vibrant, enriching environment where every member can sing, connect, and be inspired.

Arrangers Behind Our Music…

A talented team of arrangers crafts our music—Artistic Director Tyler Fitzgerald, whose arrangements form the core of our repertoire; Edmonton-based arranger, pianist, and vocalist Jennifer McMillan, who records all our practice audio recordings; and songs arranged by well-known arrangers like Audrey Snyder, Roger Emerson, Allan Billingsley, Mac Huff, and Jake Alexander. All these arrangers help OOTB create a dynamic rehearsal atmosphere and fresh and engaging performances.
