A note from Tyler…
Thanks for a great rehearsal on Tuesday; it was a lot of fun :)
We've put in the work and are in excellent shape for the dress rehearsal and the concert. I’m looking forward to this week, and I hope you are, too.
At this point in our preparation, you’ll know the spots in songs that need your attention, so I encourage you to examine these areas and utilize the practice before Tuesday to build confidence further.
Let’s do this!

Nothing Compares 2 You
By, Brent Moore
This week’s moment is in celebration of us– the OOTB Chorus! It’s wild that our big year-end concert is coming up THIS FRIDAY! I was blown away by how great we sounded last week. It has steadily improved these last few months, and we are sounding groovy! I thank everyone for their commitment and efforts.
And, of course, we couldn’t have done it without three key people. Firstly, big thanks to Eileen for her wonderful playing, lyrical flourishes, and impeccable timing. Secondly, I greatly appreciate Peter’s relaxed approach to dynamics and psychedelic ‘Croc’ attire. Lastly, thanks to Tyler for his amazing positive energy and commitment to making great music. Nothing compares to OOTB!
Have an amazing concert, everyone :)
Here’s a killer version of Nothing Compares by the Chicks – tons of soul.
(In case you didn’t know, the original song was by Prince) Check it out!
